DJ Square Knot, a Brooklyn, New York native who has had a passion for Music since he could walk a baby. By age 12 he was helping DJ Crews carry crates of records to the park to throw Jams. He had his first taste of DJ'ing at that age when he was asked by a DJ to "hold down" a break beat while he stepped away for a couple minutes.
The Break Beat... Impeach The President by The Honey Drippers. To this day, he continues to pay homage to that moment by playing that "break" during some of his sets.
His deep passion for music inspired him to endeavor further by making mixtapes while in the middle of the ocean and at his duty stations while serving in the U. S. Navy.
Forty plus years later snd he still has a great passion for Music and the DJ Culture not to mention he has always had the dream of being a Radio Host and now he has his own show The Chill Zone on OAK 93.5 at WRLY-LP Raleigh. He sends a big shout to Teachers, Veterans, First Responders and the Prince Hall Family.
